Little Things Make Up The Bigger Things

In this weeks talk, I focus on creating our days-the little parts of them-to be gearing us in the bigger picture of our lives. Whether it be choosing to up the bar in our interactions OR setting our surroundings to support all of who we want to be, full blooded in our process, pulsing with vision and passion. Sometimes too, it's a matter of taking time to include things that simply delight our heart, that make us laugh and roll around in glee at what fun we can have! So, mix it up, see what's out there, explore your terrain~internal and external and add joy when and where you can...This weekend I took a DELICIOUS 7 mile hike from Angels Rest (near the Columbia River) up to Wahkeena Falls, where I found a plethora of mosses, rock piles, gorgeous scenes and felt a little bigfoot along the way...More than anything, I had FUN! The fresh air and firs help my mind and heart too, in seeing the bigger picture and being grateful for its unfoldment... Surrender Opens The Heart

Skip ahead from this picture twentyish years and this was me, teary eyed and heartbroken for a good portion of the week...Please note: over 2 decades have passed and I am still absolutely crazy about stripes :)
This week, the listener gets a peek in at my world~the one where story teller of old meets caretaker of new, where life gets turned inside out and takes us to our knees...Or rather, MY KNEES! To live daily In*Joy and Inspiration, with the deepest reverance for life, it's a matter of letting it all fall apart, where there is nothing to do but surrender, to pain-yours and mine, and blossom into all we were born to be...It is after all, nearing spring!
With Love and Blessings,
Anna Rosebud

On The Journey, Follow The Signs...

Life is showing up, providing opportunities for us to grow~ALL THE TIME! So what can we do with them? Are we accepting their challenge to better ourselves? Are we seeing the patterns that no longer serve us and growing beyond them? This week I focus on this very thing, looking at what we are experiencing, straight in the face, as a wild opportunity to stretch beyond what we think we are capable of! So pick up your sword and shield, get ready for the heroes/heroines journey afoot and call in, you'll never know unless you try :)

The Art of Play!

"People where you live,' the little prince said, 'grow five thousand roses in one garden...yet they don't find what they're looking for...and yet what they are looking for could be found in a single rose, or a little water...but eyes are blind. You have to look with the heart." ~The Little Prince, Antoine De Saint-Exupery

Be open with your heart, have fun and PLAY! Dress up, laugh, finger paint, be silly and enjoy your moments, as best you can and oft as you may!

Gussie said to me this afternoon while running errands "Aunt Nan, I love you so much~you know why?" I said, Why Goose?
"Because you always take time in the car after we park." I had to then kiss him a whole bunch as I oft do :) He brings monumentous heaps of joy to my heart and is one of the hardest at play I know!!!
